Viral Trends (“we”, “us”) sells products through our website viraltrendsshop.com and our Viral Trends vending machines. Viral Trends is a trade name of Express Merchant Services Inc, an Ohio corporation. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Order information: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, the items you buy, and the amount you pay. You give us this at checkout.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe; we never see or store it. We receive limited details such as the card brand, the last 4 digits, and Stripe’s fraud-check result.
- Shopping data on your device: our site saves your cart, and whether you arrived from one of our social media links, in your browser’s local storage so your cart is still there when you come back. This stays on your device and is not used for advertising.
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working.
- Vending machine purchases: card payments at the machine are handled by the machine’s payment provider. We receive a record of the sale, not your card number.
How we use your information
- To process your payment, fulfill and ship your order, and give you order status and tracking.
- To contact you about your order, returns, or questions you send us.
- To prevent fraud and protect our customers and business.
- To apply offers, such as our first-order discount (we check whether an email address has ordered before).
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
Only with the companies that help us run the store and deliver your order, and only what they need:
- Payment processing: Stripe.
- Order fulfillment: our suppliers and warehouses, which receive your name, shipping address, and phone number so they can ship your order to you.
- Shipping carriers: such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and international postal services, to deliver your package.
- Hosting and email: the services that host our website and send order emails.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, customers, or others from fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to provide your order, handle returns and warranty questions, and meet tax and accounting rules (generally up to 7 years). After that, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Security
Our website uses HTTPS encryption, and payments are handled by Stripe, which is certified to the highest payment-industry security standard (PCI DSS Level 1). Access to order information is limited to what is needed to run the store.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing hello@viraltrendsshop.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it (for example, for taxes). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws; we will honor valid requests.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Purchases must be made by an adult or with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
